Testimonials
What a super organised and well catered for facility for young people. No matter the weather or the
students abilities there were a range of appropriate activities for all students (and teachers) to enjoy.
The staff related well to all students and they made each student feel special. It was amazing how
the staff were able to learn all the students names and something about each student in the two days
we were there. Their calm and positive approach ensured a safe and happy camp for all. The staff
really made us feel like it was our camp with constant communication before, during and after the
camp. We can't wait to come again next year.
Darfield High School
We had the privilege of being the first school to attend Kakariki Camps. The students thoroughly
enjoyed the wide variety of hands-on activities and outdoor experiences. Highlights were the
Legacy project, making the Moongates and being able to swim in the stream. It was lovely to have such friendly and approachable staff join us throughout the camp and the meals were delicious!
